No. The WULFE® HP Plus heat pump draws only 2.5 Amps, so it can be connected to any domestic power point with a standard 10 Amp extension cord while you wait for an electrician to attend to the permanent connection. And once installed, there is no need to wait to allow the system to "settle" before starting.
Yes, unlike almost every competitive product — because we're all about making plumbers' lives easier. And that makes it so much easier to transport and handle.
Yes, it's set-and-forget. Once programmed, there is nothing to do as it literally controls itself. Even sanitation of the tank, to guard against legionella, is automatic. If the owner wants to change any settings to suit a new usage pattern, there are instructional videos on this website.
The WULFE® system is equipped with a timer that can be programmed to only run during daylight hours, thus making full use of free energy. The highly insulated storage tank will keep the stored water hot overnight, ready for hot showers in the morning.
